DIY Bedliner Question

Anyone know if the DIY bedliners have a shelf life?

I bought a Rattle Guard kit some time ago and I am now ready to use it. But, before I go to the trouble of mixing it and screwing up a perfectly prepped body, I want to make sure the components in the kit haven't lost their salt.

Anyone have a clue. Can't talk to the Rattle Guard guys because I think they are out of business.

Maybe you can mix up a little sample and coat a trial piece of sheet metal?

how old is old? most paints have a shelf life of less than 5 years, do not know about bed liner though
