DIY Body Jig Plans?

I have a couple bodies wandering around the yard and about to embark on bronco2. (Thanks @jimmyk !). 1 body is on a wooden body dolly. 1 body is on a frame. Im going to use the body-on-frame for my next build but save the body on cart for a complete stock rebuild.

I used the wooden body cart (unsuccessfully) for my last body overhaul. I’m looking to step up my game and have the frame for a steel body jig already. Does anyone have the vertical measurements for each of the 4 body mounting points? If someone posts the frame heights, I’ll post a How-to thread for the build.

Thanks to all.

Heres a thought… if you bought a new body and still have the shipping frame, shoot me a PM or post up here….

Looking to learn the following:
Distance between vertical supports from front to back (center to center)
Distance between th vertical supports from side to side (center to center)
Any other supports? rocker panel…rad support….

Thanks!

I built a wooden dolly and the plans have been used by several members. You can look at the plans to see the vertical height of the mounting points off the standard base of the dolly, then just adjust your base to your liking.

Thanks. I have 1 of my EB bodies on one of the wooden carts currently. It’s good but not as precise as I’d like. I already have a square frame built with cross members to add vertical uprights along the span. I really just need spacing, heights, and widths at this point.
