Driveshaft work

I can't afford new driveshafts right now so I just lenghtened the stock ones I had laying around. I took a rear shaft with the longer splines and cut it down for the front.

And extended the rear existing driveshaft. If balancing is needed, That I can afford at a local shop.

This has nothing to do with what you did but just how tight should the two sections of a drive shaft be. My 66's drive shafts has some slop in them so do i need to replace them or can they be fixed. By the way getting a drive shaft shortened and balance here in GA only cost about $50 - $75. It would be worth it to have a smooth ride.
