Hey Guys,

Just planning on some of my frame componenets and have a couple ?'s

Duffs Stage 1 shock hoops use a C frame bracket which bolts on from the top of the frame rail through to the bottom. Can i assume these clear the clutch frame linkage bracket? By the pic it just looks close.

The Duffs rear axle bump stop has a bracket (purchased seperately) that is designed to attach to the OEM bump stop bracket not the frame correct?

If i am cutting off my bump stop mounts is there any reason i can't just attach (drill/tap) directly to the frame or do i need for whatever reason to weld on a new bracket for the stops to mount to. My stock OEM bump mounts are questionable.

Thanks

The rear hole of the clutch bracket lines up with the hole in the hoop. So the bracket will sit on top of the bracket on the rear portion. Should not affect alignment of the clutch assembly.

Dave I had this same thought on the front hoops. I picked a set up when I was down at Super Celebrations a few weeks back. The forward most bolt on the front hoop of the left side appears to line up exactly with the clutch bracket assembly on the frame. The "C" is formed exactly to size of the frame so the clutch linkage will have to go over the Duff hoop.

Pete,
The forward most bolt
Can i assume you mean the rearward bolt? (I guess depends on how your looking at it)
so the clutch linkage will have to go over the Duff hoop.

And you mean the bracket not the linkage?

Can i assume that by these two comments it can mount under the bracket or above?

If it can mount under the bracket i would think i would need to shim the front portion of the bracket and thus possibly making the bracket abit higher off the frame. Alignment issues?

Also if you look at the pic of the clutch bracket (front left side) it has a rolled lip on the outside frame side. Mounting above doesn't look like an option?

Sorry guys, my brain got to thinking too much.

Understand it "will" mount between the frame and the clutch bracket.

Should the front of the bracket still be shimmed up?
