Hi. New to the group. Have 1966 U14FL735104. Early serial. Is this a Budd body? Noticed little differences between my other Broncos over the years. Eyebrow grill. Doors tend to hinge differently? Front fenders seem to have a different support system? Best I can figure built in first 10-20 days of production in August of 1965? Any feedback would sure be appreciated!!

Welcome Welcome!!!

Cant wait to see you work your magic on this one Jeff!!!!

Thanks!!! Like I said I’m very excited about this one. With these early production trucks you feel like archaeologists digging up new quirks and oddities with them. I’m very curious on how different it’s from my #51. And the best part of it is the owner wants use it and enjoy the Bronco! That makes it all the more fun!

I’ll post up pictures as we go through the build.

U15 yep, original paint, think I recruited him to join too so hoping he'll chime in

Nice arcadian with red rocker stripes. Still trying to get my original arcadian paint red rocker u14 with an original arcadian paint red rocker u13 in Indiana together with a u15 of the same. Would like to get a group pic of the trio.

The early build mustangs were all shipped to far away dealers so they would arrive at the same time as the local dealers.

The earliest mustangs have all come from remote locations in Canada

Wonder if they did that with Broncos ?

I'm on Vancouver Island. Growing up, my mom drove a 64-1/2 mustang, built on the 7th day of production. 289, c4, white with red. She sold it when my older sister turned 16, because she didn't want us kids learning to drive in a 'dangerous" car. That would've been `85 or `86.

Wish we still had it!
