I had to break out the air tools to get mine off. A big puller and a healthy impact gun. Took it right off......

I run the stock Nissan box as is did not change out sector shafts just reamed the pitman arm to fit bronco tie rod end ,
I stopped by AutoZone on my way to the yard and got the largest Pittman arm puller they had via the "loan-a-tool" program and dropped it back off after leaving the yard.
Used the crank and tap method described above.
The right tool makes all the difference in the world.

I'll have to try this... just FYI, there are two 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokees at the LKQ in Greer SC that are likely no longer candidates for swaps... some dumbass has beaten the Pittman arms to hell with a 4lb sledge hammer

99 to 2004 Grand Cherokee is what I have written in my notes for the sector shaft.

Also, can anyone tell me what the difference (if any) is between a 6 AN and -6 AN?
Neither...... I’m using a Saginaw PS pump. AN6 adapter on Saginaw pump, to a pre made high pressure hose to the Sweet adapter on the box.
Took me a while to find pre made high pressure AN6 hoses but speedway now carries them. Here’s one for 38 bucks. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Good...teering-Gear-Pressure-Line-22-Inch,44566.html
Much cheaper than you can buy the parts to make your own.

And in case you're talking to someone about AN fittings, the "-" in the equation is typically referred to as "dash" (as opposed to the - being for "negative").
As in, you're looking for a "dash six" size.
Sorry if you already knew that part, but figured I'd throw it into the mix.
