Easiest way to install C4 and Engine?

I’m new to working on the 76 bronco. Im used to Mustangs. I’m putting in a rebuilt 302 and a rebuilt C4 along with the stock dana 20 transfer case. What’s the easiest way to install the drivetrain? With my cars I would install the transmission and engine together from the engine bay. With the bronco, I’m thinking I should install the transfer case and transmission with a Jack from below and the engine from the engine bay. What method worked best for you?

I have always installed them in 3 pieces. never had enough room overhead and its pretty hard to get over the core support. I have my own engine hoist with extended boom but it doesnt like all the weight out at the end. Would need to extend the legs too but then it gets tough to work it down at the tires. Just my personal situation. by the time you remove tires and fiddle around with the whole assembly hanging out there by your self it just easier to do it piecemeal.

Done it a few different ways. Package (all 3 together) has always proven to be the best way.

I found it very easy to install the 302 connected to C4 and Dana 20 as one piece. BUT, I had the body off, installed engine in frame with axles, then raised body and rolled frame under body. Used a A frame rig with out riggers to hold engine, C4, Dana 20 in place while rolling frame underneath. If body is still attached to frame, I can’t see how you would install except as separate items.

I've only done the three-in-one install once, and that's because I had a backhoe available.
I find the C4 too heavy to install it together with the transfer case, so I usually install all pieces separately.

Separately is easier if you got minimum space and doing it alone.
It all calls on the task at hand, space and equipment/tool available for the task.
I have done engine/trans installs (no Tcase) with the front top bar of the core support removed. I have pulled complete drive trains out (engine/trans/tcase) .

Standard lift here, we did all at once. Had to lift the tfer case over the rad support. Not too hard. I’d recommend especially if you’re ok banging things into the firewall a little

Not going to like this option, I did all three in a low overhead carport, like 7.5 feet, I pulled front axle, dropped frame to ground, jacked up rear end, hood and core support was off. all three slipped right in.

Otherwise, engine first, then c4 and d20 bolter together slid in underneath, make sure engine mounts very lose, nothing on front of engine to poke into radiator.
