I think its fair to say that the new Bronco will likely have an effect on EB values. It could go either way depending on the vehicle presented. Lets be honest. The Raptor is a gem and if the Bronco they bring to market is like that, a lot of the EB market is going to head that way. It could suck also.

Ive been in the Bronco market for about 6 months and find that its a wildly unusual market. You have the $75K trophies built with no expense spared and barely a passing resemblance to the original thing. There are more of those than driver quality mostly original trucks. So it appears the values are sky high but they might not be. Those junk trucks for $10k are often people that see the $75k trucks listed. Ive concluded that the truck I want, a factory automatic, power steering, cut truck, in nice fairly original driver condition wouldn't be silly expensive. Its just hard to find

I might be the only one but I think the market is in a slight pause. Seen a few that would have been gone quick still up for sale...though certainly at prices way above just a few years ago.

I bought my first bronco in 1990 for $3700. It was a 1975 ranger model with a/c, p/s and automatic. It was a daily driver from day 1. I put a lot of work and money into it. It was beautiful when I sold it. My dumbass sold it in 1995 for $7000 so I could buy a new truck.
Damn it!!

Most people only want a vintage vehicle when and because everyone else wants them

7 years ago no one wanted broncos and they were reasonably priced ,

99% of the people who want broncos now , only want them BECAUSE they are expensive and desirable

Odd how they didn’t want them when you could buy a nice driver for $7k and couldn’t give away one that wasn’t in excellent condition

Ten years ago I tried to sell mine with EFI PS disc brakes and a NV five speed for $5,500 and had two people come look at it and both of when complained endlessly about the paint,

Those same people would happily pay $20k now , just because everyone else wants it too

And it’s easy to tell .
When you’re driving it and someone mentions it ,or your talking and the person finds out you have a early bronco they don’t say “those look cool” or “ive always like those “ or “my uncle had one “

The first and only thing they say is about the price and how valuable they are now.

yep, ^^^this...however that's ALL they really know. When they ask what I think mine's worth I say about $25k, which I think is a reasonable, cb.com price, and they're like "Oh....THAT much!?!?"

Even more often than what they're worth, I get "you don't see those anymore" EVERY time ;D

Yep, they're def getting pricey.

But I'm following my life mode of patience and doing research (heck, I don't own one, but even I can tell the asking prices are a pipe dream).

Out there looking for a '73-'77 hardtop on eBay, BaT, Craigs and on here.

For me the timing is not right but I'll be ready when the right combination comes up.

This is how I got mine. I actually bought Just the hard top first;D because I found it locally for a steal and all the broncos I was finding didn't have a top on them. Then I ran across a very solid bronco a year later on a local sale add sight(without a top) that I snatched up. Been driving the heck out of it ever since. On a side note I should put that top on my bronco sometime and see what it looks like.

Simply put. ( With respect to what the custom shops have done to facilitate and expedite the resurgence) I acknowledge and respect the effort and $ it takes to bring these things back from the brink to these levels. So to that, I will say thank you. However, the message is to those wanting an early bronco but seeing the SEMA broncos, celebrity broncos, custom shop rigs, etc .... You do not need to spend 200-300$k to have a beautiful early bronco! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. To those who take personal offence to the aforementioned, I cannot help you with that. Please don’t respond with a tutorial on how to run a business, being that I run one of my own as well, in a different industry. I’m not flying my private jet nor am I clinkin glasses of high priced champagne but rather, like most, just ensuring the receivables outnumber the payables. To this I say... CHEERS !!!

1/4 million from Kindigit customs is expected, do the math and shop rate to do what they do.

Home built, well built, hopefully mine is that strata, are easily over $30,000 up to $80,000 depending what you have in it.

Mine has an $8,000 motor, and a $2,500 tranny. I put the money there because that's what I do, motors.

But expecting to get a cheap bronco anymore, that is usable I have to add, not a rust bucket, cannot be had for under $10,000 from what I've seen. And I expect that to go up, not go down with a new bronco.

Odd that the 1966's are around 15-20% higher in value according to the valuation tool.

Prices may go up and down, but the fun I get from driving and tinkering with mine is priceless. Remember the old commercial about "How many smiles per gallon do you get?".
Also, the prices go up but what is someone actually going to pay? Varies widely.

if the price was right I'd sell my 67 no problem. I could put into my house and get back double the equity easily.
