I have a 1990 5.0 EFI engine with a factory wire harness. I also have installed an electric fan and I also purchased the Centech fan control which comes with it's own engine coolant sensor. Does anyone else have a similar setup? and how have you connected both sensors or have you combined the signal from one sensor. I'm thinking trying to pull a signal from just one sensor to two sources will alter the signal and it may be necessary to find a second location for the fan sensor (leaving the stock ECT alone). Any comments?
