I found a 5.0 mustang at the local pick n pull got all the wiring that runs from the computer to the Injectors but I left the headlight wiring harness there didn't think I needed it. Well now I get home and see i have no distributor connection cause it's in the headlight wiring. Do I need to get the complete wiring harness from the engine compartment? I Grabbed all the sensors connected but disconnected the harness right on the firewall where it going into the drivers side compartment. What else do I need to scab I don't want to forget anything. I left the upper and lower intake cause I've got one but did get the maf and tb. Help me out I know it's been gone through but I just don't want to pass that opportunity. O yeah got the dizzy as well. Thanks

That's where I started but it shows nothing on the rest of the harness. Do I need the rest of it for the dizzy connection or just cut the dizzy connection and wire it in myself?

If you don't have the plug for the TFI module and the spout connector right next to it on the main harness, someone cut it before you got there. On an 89-93 Mustang 5.0 MA harness, the leg for the distributor runs right next to the injector harness on the drivers side of the engine.

There are 3 basic pieces to a Mustang 5.0 MA harness....

the main harness that goes from the computer, across the firewall, over to the coil.
the injector harness that connects to the main harness at the "salt/pepper" shakers
the O2 harness that drops down to oil pan level, connects to main harness very near MAF plug.

I will try to find some pics I have of a cleanly removed stock Mustang harness.

The Distributor wires should be part of the the wiring you pulled, take a better look at it.

Ok guys sorry gotta pregnant wife and I'm getting confused shouldn't try any think for 2 people. What I was calling the dizzy connection was the alternator wires didn't realize this till my alternator went out this morning and I disconnected it. So to clarify the alternator connections in a mustang tie into the headlight harness. Sorry for the confusion. So now for the re wiring what can I scab out of this harness/not needed what 3 wires power the entire system? Thank again

Yeah, you end up cutting most of the Mustang alternator stuff out for a 3G 1 wire.
