Just curious why not use a retrofit submersible pump?

I'm using a Hyperfuel Retrofit 40015 on my stock tank and FiTech. Works well and plumbed with AN fittings already. If I remember right, it sits 3/4" high, so my hockey puck lift kit was more than enough.

If I would have known that unit existed I would have strongly considered it. I already have a frame mount Bosch pump. I was only aware of the $400 units (Holley?) they always install on PowerBlock TV. That one is much more reasonable in cost.

Think of it this way.... If you're frame pump dies and you have a spare, you're OK. I'm screwed with an in-tank pump made in China for sure. While its been great, who the heck knows!
