Hey Guys,
Just bought one of these units and wondering if anyone has some install pics? Seen other folks are installing them now as well. Looking to mount the fuel center and only place that makes sense is over the horn / steering box. Pics appreciated, if anyone has them.

Currently my Carter P4070 is on the pass side about half the way up the frame. Never any problems. New location on DS will need to be 1' further to avoid air tank. Thoughts on how far a Carter can be from the fuel tank? Again, it's done fine where it's at.

Thanks and I'll post progress. Cheers, B2

I installed mine in the same spot you are talking about. I tried to find another spot but it fit best there. It fits well and looks good under the hood, unfortunately I didn't take any pics during the install as it was late and dark. Would go out and take some pics but it's already dark. I'll try to remember to snap some pics tomorrow if you want.

I have some pictures, that's where I mounted mine and it just seemed like the best spot. I thought about putting it on the frame rail like the charcoal canister, but it seemed kind of exposed in that location. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1450100469.052601.jpg

Thanks to all for the info and especially for the pics, bteusch. Got under the Bronco last night and think I have my routing mapped out. Will post my install. Thx, B2

Other than not having to install a HP pump and return line, is there another reason you went with the Commander option? It seems like it would save you $200 if you would have went with a high pressure pump and return line - so I am just a little curious.

thanks,
dan

I went with it because I have two tanks and no plans to run a single tank. seemed like it would be easier to go the command center route. Sounded complicated to keep two tanks and try and run an electric pump.
