I would like to send in my harness and have it reworked, and all the relays put in, and the plug so it plugs into the bronco harness.

I can do it!

We completely disassemble your core harness, clean up everything, and remove all unneeded wires, move sensors to where they need to be for the EB, including relocating the barometric sensor and test plug. Then install the resistors you need to fool the computer into believing the smog stuff is connected. EGR is eliminated as well as the salt and pepper shaker connectors (Ford had a recall of the salt and pepper connectors). Each harness that we rebuild has many new parts like a 4 fuse holder, 4 relay holder, relays, resisters, harness wrap, etc. It comes back pretty much as a brand new harness. I think it is a great value considering the price of an all-new harness. It is a 4 wire connect when you get it back, battery positive, negative, key on from solenoid and key start from solenoid.
Email me if you have any questions.

Ric's harness is a great alternative for an EFI harness, for the DIY Bronco guy. You save a $200's over a new one. And most people grab there EFI stuff @ the junkyard to save a few $$$.

I did my EFI Conversion for about $500 using junkyard parts & have been running trouble free for over 3 years.

I've done a few EFI swaps for under the cost of a new harness. The first I did on my own rig about 10 years ago for under $300. I have always liked the idea of reworking your own harness because you actually tend to learn whats going on and if you do ever have any problems you might have a better idea of how to trouble shoot/fix it. Go to Ebay and find a EVTM for your year of harness. If you look on corall.net you can usually pick up a good used harness for $100.

I second what Steve said, there's nothing like doing it yourself so you know what the parts are, what they do and where they're connected. I've done a bunch of conversions with used harnesses, although I shy away from them now. I won't do an EFI conversion on a Customer rig with a used wiring harness, wastes too much of my time and costs them more $$ than a new harness.

The biggest issue that guys encounter when installing EFI isn't the harness, doesn't matter if it's an FRPP harness, Ryans, one reworked by Ric, etc... it's the little stuff they scrimped on by reusing a "known good" sensor or actuator.

Off soapbox,
Joe
