Electric Wiper Switch Wiring

Changing the vacuum wipers on my ‘69 to the early Bronco electric wipers. Can I use the wire that is currently feeding the washer switch to feed both power in connections on the electric wiper switch or do I need 2 separate electrical feeds to the wiper switch? I have been looking at a ‘73-‘74 wiring diagram that shows a 763 O-W wire and 950 W-BK wire feeding the wiper switch. The 950 W-BK continues as 951 GR-BK to feed the washer pump.

For a retro fit I believe you can use one power source that feeds both circuits...

Looking for Todd Z's intermittent switch write up, which I think can shed some light on this question...

Thanks.

I had looked at both of those previously but missed the note in the tech article that says to jumper the wire at the #4 position to the 12v+ supply orange wire at the #2 position.
