empty::light in cluster for "out of gas"

Never get very empty due to admonitions against but aquaintence (not my
type cept he collects EBs) sez there's an 'idiot light' for low gass in his cluster.
He's got the $ to get em all in tip top shape. Had mine 40 yrs this fall & never noticed
sucha light. Am re-wiring right now (Johnny Cash style) & see nothing in sending unit loom
or dash harness...

Just did mine, don't see any provisions for an EMPTY light... There are bulb mounts for high beams, directionals, and general illumination. 5 total. Maybe he thinks the red high beam indicator light is the "out of gas" light... Idiot light indeed...

Never been one on any USA sold EB I’m aware of. Maybe an export thing. But I doubt it.
You should ask him if he’s got an aftermarket instrument cluster. I bet Dakota Digital or one of the other brands has that feature.

There's a light on dash when you are out of brake fluid, but that's the only warning light I've ever seen.
