Back on the subject of hangers, my coil spring hanger has been misplaced and I can't find it. I still may have it tho. I had a hard time getting a muffler shop to even consider originality. They all think they have a better idea of how to do it. One knuckle head hung the exhaust from a floor brace.

Didn't know you could get an independent A/F gauge for an O2 sensor...

My factory dual exhaust on my 73 exits behind rear wheels and out on both sides. If you're installing headers I'm sure you are running dual exhaust.

Dual exhaust was never a factory option on EB's. It must have been changed by the dealer or a previous owner. That's a pretty common changeÂ….

And plenty of Broncos are running headers and a 2 into 1 single muffler exhaust. Nothing wrong with a single exhaust, it can flow plenty if sized right.

A duel exhaust may have been made in a factory, just not a Ford factory. That aside there was a less noisy horn for places like NYC where the din of honking is obnoxious. So a quieter exhaust would make sense. I'd like an exhaust that sounds like a Lincoln Navigator, in other words nearly silent. Loud exhaust may help a Harley rider be noticed in traffic where not being seen can get you killed. My EB is more useful when quiet. A loud vehicle in the desert or any wilderness is just annoying. The quietest vehicle can heard for hundreds of yards in the desert and deer likely hear it for miles. Moving quietly just makes over land travel more enjoyable.
