Since I'm piecing together a setup. Does anybody know the bolt sizes for the bolts that hold the auto tensioner to the bracket?

8mm x 1.25 pitch. they are the same bolts as what hold the p.s. pump to the other bracket...

So instead of starting a new thread I figure I would ask here.

Does any one know the part number to the correct cam bolt that does not have to be ground down? I have to replace the bolt I figure I would get one doesn't required to clearances.

You can't use the oem bolt and a washer?

Not being a smart ass, really....

I haven't started my Serp swap yet so I am now wondering too.

Went junkin' today and grabbed a few cam bolts and brought them home...
threads are 3/8-16 and the bolt length looks to be just shy of 1 1/2"
fyi... (didn't see any p/n on it)

I ended up getting a arp cam bolt. It was thinner than the stock cam bolt from my 351w.

I mocked everything up and put play dough on the bolt head to check the clearance. I ended up having almost a .25" on clearance.

If the bolt is 6mm in diameter it typically has a 10mm head (wrench size).
The common thread size is M6x1.0 Don't think I have ever seen an M6 thread that wasn't 1.0 thread pitch.
