I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm about to attempt to swap in a 1995 Explorer engine with accompanying AoDe transmission to a 1972 Bronco.
If you have links to a walk-through, I'd appreciate it, because I kinda don't even know where to start.

Here's a few starter pics. Is the tag on the transfer case a Dana 20?

Looks like it's a GT40 set of heads, and uses coil packs,

So far my parts list:

---Reverse Flow radiator
---Motor Mounts

Transfer case looks like dana 21, one speed, with probably wrong spline count for adapter.

Computer year needs to match harness or something custom will need to be done. Check with EFIguy.

Find your VIN on the frame while the body is off......clean it, take pics of it and try to "preserve" it - some kind of clear coat over it.

Easiest time to do it is now!

Ever notice that the next year's model cars are available before the end of the current year? That's because the changeover happens in August, not January.

If it is a 96 Explorer motor with GT40 heads then you will need to use the SLL4 ECU.

There was no V8 in 1995...

The other one is for 1999-2001 return-less fuel line Motor

^^^This is correct.

So, before that engine goes in...

Decided to strip down the frame and start from the start, before I put in the Explorer Engine. Spent another 3k at Wildhorses on a trip to Lodi--suspension, Dana 20 to Aode adapter, hood, etc.

The frame is now bare, and yesterday I hit it with POR15, which has great coverage, but is like painting with water. Even trading out gloves, I managed to get my hands, wrists, and a couple spots on my face. Oh, and the driveway has a few new black spots.

Once the POR15 dries, I'll strip the suspension and begin the rebuild from frame -up. At some point an animal was living in the frame; anyone have advice for getting debris out of the center of the frame?

Obligatory PICs:
