F150 4X4/4X2 Steering questions

I currently have a power steering box from a 75 Bronco. There is a little play, maybe an inch inch or two of turning the wheel. I am looking at either rebuilding the stock box or converting to the F150 box. I figure if I go with the F150 box I can sell the Bronco box and come out even on the deal.

Questions:

Are the hose fittings the same size and in the same approximate location on both boxes? I would like to use the same hoses since I had to have custom ones made with the metric fittings for my hydroboost.

Is the F150 box stronger? Opinions will probably vary on this...

Are there any drawbacks other than having to drill a couple of holes?

Thanks
