Does anyone know if or how Duffs receiver hitch will fit with the 23 gall Aero gas tank and a 2" body lift? Is there enough space between the gas tank and the rear factory bumper for the hitch? Will the hitch sit low enough to clear the bumper if I have a 2" BL?

I have that hitch and an Aero tank. Mine fit but just barely. The drawbar runs up the front of the cross member and it looks to be about 1/2" thick. That drawbar is right up against the tank, but I don't see that being a problem. I put the tank in about 35 years ago and the hitch in about 15 years ago and the hitch bolted right in.
As long as Aero makes the tank to the same dimensions, yours should work fine too.
A body lift won't affect the spacing between the bumper and hitch since they are both bolted to the frame.

TBP Hitch will clear the Areo 23 Gal Tank. I have it on my 68.(With a 1" Body lift)

If the Areo tank has the tabs pre-welded on it you will have to modify the install...

Tom's has 3 mounting points on each side of the frame, it comes with a bracket with mounting nuts attached that slides into the frame on both sides.
The mounting point for the Areo tank covers the middle hole. I changed the bolt nut size on the bracket to accommodate the smaller tank bolt.

Since I only plan to use the hitch as a rear anchor point and to move trailers around my driveway, I am good with the reduction of strength...
