Flexplate for C4 and 351W??

I'm trying to figure out what I need to match up my c4 to a '93 351W. I purchased an FM124 torque converter, made sure it's seated all the way back on the output shaft. I measure 7/8" from the surface of the bellhousing to the TQ bolt pads. The flex plate is from the 351W and it was mated to an E4OD trans.

The Flex plate is a 164 tooth, 28oz, 11.5" bolt circle, but i think it may stick out from the engine block too far. It measures 1" from the block.

The bell housing will bolt up to the block but the torque converter binds when the bell housing bolts are snugged up.

I understand the FM112 has a slightly shorter pilot at 1.28" rather than 1.36" on the FM124, but im not sure that will be enough space.

Do I need a different flex plate designed for the c4?

Any help much appreciated!

Wrong flexplate. E4OD used the same flex plate as a C6 which is different from the C4, AOD, 4r70w flexplate. This pic is a C4 plate(left) next to a C6 plate(right). See the difference where the ring gear meets the plate. C4 plate steps down, C6 plate steps up.

I appreciate the feedback and I ordered the f200 flex plate but it is the exact same as the stock 351 flex plate. It's hard to see in the picture if my flexplate looks like the c4 or c6. Could you possibly measure how thick the c4 flexplate is if sitting flat on a bench to the torque converter bolt holes

I'm still not having any luck

On closer look I can see the difference. I'll check my flexplates and make sure they sent the correct one. Thanks!

If you post a pic of the flexplates you have, I can probably see the difference by your pics.

They look identical to me. Both have the lip. And the new one is actually a tiny bit thicker at the bolt holes than the old one
Did I get the wrong flex plate? It's the f200 from bulkparts unless packaged wrong??
Trying to figure out how to send pic

The F200 that was sent to me from bulkparts was the same as the e4od flexplate. I ordered a pioneer FRA 205 from Kragen yesterday and that was the ticket. The off set was way shallower by about 1/4". So I'm good to go now. Don't know if the f200 was packaged wrong but definitely different than the FRA 205
Thanks very much for the help guys

I buy a lot of flexplates and never had an issue with one from bulkpart. I'd like to see some comparison measurements or pics please.

I can definitely send some pics to your phone or email or I guess become a contributor if you tell me how that's done. The ring gear is the same height if sitting flat on a bench the FRA 205 steps down a 1/4" where the tq bolts up

I became a contributor but can't pull photos from my phone. Working til tomorrow but I actually don't have any pics of the 205 cause I bolted everything up last night. The difference is very obvious though the 205 steps down immediately inside the ring gear where the other has a little rounded ridge then basically flat from there to where the tq mounts
