Here is a couple of phone pictures of a Dana 20 mated to a 4r70w with the ZF adapter.

Let me know if you need anymore pictures or measurements. I would gladly help get a twin stick for this setup.

Installed Dana 20 on ZF adapter/4r70w tonight. See pics. Dimensions are as follows.

Shifter bolt C/L is 1/8" back from c/l of shiter rail holes. 4 5/8" from front flange of D20. 24 1/4" from front of bellhousing (these are all 5/8"x2" shifter shoulder bolt). flat of shifter mount is 2 3/4" off tranny c/l.

I can get whatever other dimensions needed.

Sounds good!
It would have to be in July sometime (many irons in the fire).

PM me with your number or email address?

Cheers,
Jon

What is the vertical distance from the top flag to the C/L of the shoulder bolt?

What is the horizontal distance from the face of the shifter mount to the C/L of the holes in the shifter flags?

Thanks!
Jon

Distance vertical from the top of the flags to the bolt centerline is 2 2/3". Offset from mounting glange is 2 3/4" to start of oval cut-out and 3 3/4" to end of oval. One note on my bracket is that it is not perfectly vertical when the tranny is level. I may need to relocate one of the holes to fix this. Dimensions should stay the same.

Is there any chance the the kit could be made to work with a 4R70W and a Northwest fab Black Box-I in place of the ZF adapter to mount the D20?

You would need to figure out where to mount the shifter, I would use cable shifters....

I picked up the pieces for the laser cutter on Friday. We are working on the prototype today.
I build a jig based on the measurements you guys have provided.

Well I fit the prototype. They fit it great except the shifter arms were back too far. They are correcting and I will try to refit them. Here are some pics.
