Phred, no I didn't end up drilling the rollbar. I ended up making a couple of simple tabs for the rear bolts, you can probably see them on the middle picture. Then I welded some 3/8 bolts upside down to the rollbar and just nutted them from the outside. The instructions said to use self tapping screws which I thought was bogus.
