Working on installing my zf5 and I go to mount the master cylinder how in the heck is it supposed to fit? The inner fender is clearly in the way. There’s no mention of having to chop everything up to fit!

On mine, I had to oval out the hole to get it up and over closer to the fender. Really, wasn't much larger and no one could see it.

You know its been awhile but I seem to recall moving the speedo cable to a new hole and using the Speedo hole for the clutch master?

I went with a 95 f250 master, the reservoir is on the firewall side and is a little shorter

Yea that’s what they tell you to do but what I’m saying is where I have it in picture isn’t even down close enough to speedo hole to oval it and the hose hookup is setting directly on the fender well.

I ordered everything for a 95 bronco. There is a thread here somewhere that talks about the proper clutch rod location to give you better leverage. It moves the master cylinder hole up. Here is a picture of mine on my build.

Did this work better for you? If so do you have any pics?
I've been running that master for around 7 years without a problem. The hose plugs into the end of the master so there's no clearance issues with it. I had to do a small amount of grinding on the mounting plate to make it fit close to the booster bracket. If I had planned where I drilled the hole for the master a little better I wouldn't have needed to do any grinding lol
