Fuel leaking from carburetor

Just took my '69 Bronco out for a drive and it drove great as always. Before putting it away i popped the hood to take a look and make sure everything was good. I noticed one slow drop of fuel coming from the carburetor which i have never noticed before.
I then turned the vehicle off and saw it drip two more times. Like i said it was running fine, but surprised to see it have this gas drip. Maybe only saw it drip 3 times, but has not done this in the past.

I spoke w/ someone much more knowledgeable about this than me and he said it was probably the accelerator pump needing replaced. Any thoughts on this?

The location of the leak is needed to begin diagnosing it. In other words where is it dripping from?

Where is it leaking from is key. If you have a leaky fuel filter inlet, working on the accelerator pump won't do any good.

The leak is below and to left of the accelerator pump. There are 2 screws on the bottom directly below that and it seems to be dripping off of that. Hope that description makes sense.

It sounds like you're describing the 2 bottom screws securing the accelerator pump cover to the front of the float bowl. If so, you may need a new accelerator pump diaphragm if it's perforated. That's an easy fix. Just remember not to over tighten the screws. The cover is easy to bend. If it does, the diaphragm will leak until the gasket surface is flat again. I just bend them straight again.
