When I got the title for my F150 the color was wrong. I went to the DMV and told the lady it was gray, not white. She said I needed to get the dealer to change it so I would not be charged a $18 change fee. I said “They don’t care, it’s my truck now.” She typed a little on her computer and said “Hmm, looks like it says gray now. I wonder why?” And gave me a receipt….

One of the titles i have, in the vehicle series/body style box, it says "van" .... The vin number is correct so I dont worry about it, but i wonder how that happened and how common that is...?

I asked about the paint color being off and mine to see if that was a problem. The DMV lady said vehicles get painted all the time but, if a trooper checked my tag and the registration info doesn’t match the vehicle they might pull me over to check it out for a stolen tag etc. If it’s not a van you might run into the same thing…..

I had the new title sent to me for my 1969 F100. The year on the title said 1696. I called the DMV and asked to revise. They laughed at the date and just sent a new title.

Bringing a frame and glove box door into Florida in 2 days. Hopefully no issues. Truck was sold in Florida originally but ended up in Louisiana.
