Radio lead would work. Another good spot is the stud terminal at the back of the ign sw.
If you use the Gn/Bk wire on the back of the ig.sw., start your new circuit with a fuse - there is none up to that point; just the fusible link near the battery. The radio power wire is already fuse-protected.

...you could be doubling the current going through the sender, and fuel fumes.
I don't think it would actually double because of the way the ICVR works (it's really a circuit breaker), but I agree that it's not a good idea.

Thanks.
Next Q: what year did the license lamp start? The '73-74 diagrams don't show it.

Nevermind - it's there. I'm just going blind from staring at these for so long.

@&$$#(**!!!!!! I just noticed something else.

Seabiscuit's '73-74 01-05 diagram shows circuit 152 Y passing through C206 instead of 38 Bk/R like '75. Is that correct? Did S201 also move? Is the connector pinned differently, or is it just a color change?

No 152 doesn't go through C-206. Also C-206 isn't found on a '73. I think it was '74-'75 only. 37, 38 and 904 go through C-206.

S-201 is same as '75-up.

That diagram set is just a bit off.

Thanks again. Back to rearranging some more...

Just found another one on the '75-77 set: he had the hi-alt. solenoid circuit 640 R/Y like the brake warning, but it should be 932 Bu like the ignition module feed. It's correct on the '73-74 set, though.

I doubt it. '74 had the hazard switch in the column (just like '75-'77) and also had electronic ignition in CA (unique to '74).

So far, most of my electrical issues have been solved, although I have a few more questions. There are two wires under the hood on the back side of the driver side fender with an "L" shaped connector. Any idea where these go and where was the stock horn location and for a 71 what color wires were they?
