Thanks for all the responses! Any issues adapting harness? Schematic on how to do it?

The best site I found withTBI info was a forum for international scouts I have a good color schematic saved somewhere

We pulled a TBI from a 1990 305 and installed it on a 77 350 just changing the injectors
And installing a 15 psi pump

They used TBI from 87 to 95 I think

Light years better than a carb
Not as good as the stock ford efi though

We just did a LS transplant and I sold the complete TBI setup for $250
I paid $200 initially for everything

Thats where I found most of my info - the harness is easy to work through and pulling the parts are all junk yard or you can get an adapter for the carb, but again this was for a chevy 350.

The FJ40 I converted sits outside in a field most of the time and fires up first turn of the key every time - been about 7 years since i did the conversion....

Cool will it bolt to a 4bbl square flange intake?

A TBI unit will bolt to anything that you can find or make an adapter to fit. They're a unique 3 bolt pattern so they bolt to nothing not specifically designed for them.

I'll bet it's the same Matt, it's from an older build.

Mark

That Howell was the best upgrade I ever made to the jeep...well the Tera lows and arbs helped! Old build then too .. they didn't make jeeps with that stuff in them;D
