Gt40p heads stock manifolds

Anyone know if the 4 bars heads will work with stock 68 289 exhaust manifolds?

It worked with my 72 302 stock manifolds, some shaving needed.

I've heard they work, but need modification. A carbide burr and a die grinder to make clearance for the plugs and wires.
