I have a buddy who did his cage a couple years ago out of tube and him and his brother just made one out of pipe and hes said it probably weighs 30 to 50 more and will do good for and weekend trail rig, I plan on doing mine out of tube but I think the HF pipe bender is a good deal for a cheap (cheap but does good bends) bender to do things like bumpers or sliders. So far Iv made a traction bar, a core support, and a exhaust pipe for my lawn mower ;D
Im very happy with it.
