Harbor Freight Pipe Bender and Notcher

You can get pipe made of the same steel has HREW and DOM. I think the biggest disadvantage to using pipe is the weight. A pipe cage would weight a lot more than one made of tube. I think the best applications for pipe would be bumpers and rock sliders.

How much more would it weigh?
I have a buddy who did his cage a couple years ago out of tube and him and his brother just made one out of pipe and hes said it probably weighs 30 to 50 more and will do good for and weekend trail rig, I plan on doing mine out of tube but I think the HF pipe bender is a good deal for a cheap (cheap but does good bends) bender to do things like bumpers or sliders. So far Iv made a traction bar, a core support, and a exhaust pipe for my lawn mower ;D

Has anyone here purchased or used the Harbor Freight pipe bender? They are really cheap. I realize they say they are pipe benders, but can they bend tube also? Any opinions? Here are the links.
