Does any have any experience with a mobile hardtop removal tool? I need to be able to remove and replace my hard top back and forth as I work on my new tub. I’ve seen a few online, looking for a recommendation. I’m not looking for a garage mounted hoist at this time but perhaps in the future

Not sure how fancy you wanta get, but I put a couple of 2x4s between the top and the bed, secure them through the bolt holes with lag screws, put two kids on one side and me on the other and lift it off. You can secure cables or rope to the 2x4s and lift it with a cherry picker if you have one with enough reach. Mine won't do it.

Thanks I’m not really looking for a diy solution at this time. I need to be able to easily move this thing with the hard top all around my driveway and side yard

What about a simple rolling gantry crane from harbor freight. Not sure how well it will roll around in your side yard though.

I would google around this site and the internet. I mounted a harbor freight winch above the garage in the attic and cut a 4" hole in sheetrock. I then secured a piece of 4" PVC in the hole to make it pretty and allow the cable to move freely. I used straps around the top to lift it and then placed 2x4's under and secured with ratchet straps via eye bolts. Seems to work fine. "Future Plans" ;)

I think it will be very difficult to find anything that "will roll freely" through your yard. Unless it has large pneumatic or at least semi-pneumatic tires (6"+) on it plus a wide and long wheelbase. Likely not going to be commercially made.

Just my opinion, but anything is possible.
