Hardtop rust above windshield

Hi, Am wondering If I should try and repair this top It is in Great shape elsewhere or just buy new

Also if you have photos from similar projects or good Points.

You can also get this dynacorn drip rail set. Maybe reach out to them and see if they'll just sell you the front piece.

Also maybe call Dynacorn and suggest they offer just the front piece of the top. Maybe they'll think it's a good idea.

check with John at the bottom of that thread and see if he still has the repair panel hiding in his attic? That would be lots easier to ship to Iceland than a whole top.

I would contact our used parts suppliers and see if someone has a good section out of one of their rusty tops they could section out for you. That would be worth the effort.

That’s the best idea fabricating a flat piece of metal would take a lot of time
