I know everybody uses drop mounts for wiper motor. Has anyone flipped the motor the other direction and positioned it inline ? I know it would take a little fab to make a mount... if its inline will it bind up?? and made a aluminum cover for it or something... just trying to make the assembly a little smaller.. thanks for any input

So you already have factory electric wipers Sean, or are you replacing vacuum with electric?
If already electric, you're going with the individual motor type just to shave off some height then?
Just curious since it sounds like more hassle than a bracket would be. Unless you're just trying to get every fraction of an inch out of there.

Yep, like he said. To re-use the stock cover you would have to modify it.

I'm considering Tom's or WH kit now after mocking up a stock motor conversion.
I too have a 67 w/ vacuum setup and need to add electric wipers.
What I don't like about the stock motor is its either up high above the frame or it would have to hang down low.
