i am putting a relay harness in it. kind of like painless or ryans from fordfuelinjection. This will allow me not to burn up my harness and make it a little brighter.

Yeah, I've never seen them in any catalog or store either. Been looking (casually anyway) for some time but with no luck.
My harness', and I think Ryan's just use individual male blade connectors. Unless Ryan has managed to find them somewhere. I think he said he was looking too, but with similar results.

On my harness you cut off the old connector and crimp on a weatherpack connector.

The old connector is not water tight and full of corrosion. Using the old connector will make the new harness corrode faster.

I could get connectors that plug into the stock headlight plug, but I will not lower the quality of my harness just to make it easier to install.

help me out on this one guys...I too built my own harness for the h4 lamps using the bosch relays. Found the female head light connectors and relay bases with out any problems. Just what are we talking about....

"male ends that plug into the female stock headlight sockets"

what are they and why do we need them? ?:?

Henry they're talking about a connector that connects to the headlight plug in the Bronco harness. It would have three male blades just like the back of the headlight bulb, and it would plug into the (female) headlight connector on the existing harness in place of the bulb. This allows you to build a relay harness without cutting into the existing harness, its just plug and play. I'm with Ryan though, I don't know why this would be desired. Using weatherpacks like Ryan said sounds like a much better idea.

This is another one of those projects I keep hoping to get around to. Doesn't make the Bronco go faster or slower though so its gonna take a while to work itself up the priority list.

sorry I guess I wasn't paying attention that well.......
I got the new headlight connectors and the female ends that go in the connector itself.
Either way Frank can probably hook you up.
I would just cut and crimp a weather pack like those of us using Ryan's harness will do.
Good luck either way

Ahhh...got it. Thanks for the education Dusty. Does sound like the way to add h4s if you are no inclined to cut up the harness. :)

If it's a big deal, I can make a small adaptor to plug between my harness and the stock harness. Just not something I thought anyone would need
