Headlight Wiring Harness question

Ok, so the wife is giving me a hard time about wanting to buy wiring harness's and other premade parts for my ride, when I had bought the Bronco with the intention on doing as much work myself as possible. (I am not sure if she expects me to pour the plastic molds for the sockets and fashion the wire from scratch) Thus, instead of buying a wiring harness from Ryan (which I would much rather do, because of ease and the fact that his harness's look damn good and work real well from all accounts) it looks like I am going to have to buy the parts solo and do some sort of duct tape and chewing gum creation.

I have a good idea on the wiring makeup, but will the following work for the relay's?
http://www.delcity.net/delcity/servlet/catalog?parentid=72563&page=1

or do I need to use something else or do people suggest somewhere else?

Again, I am not trying to take any business away from Ryan and the other individual's who make life easier for everyone by creating premade harnesses that work extremely well for a very reasonable price, it is simply my wife has put the checkbook on hold for a while concerning upgrades on my Bronco.

thanks,
dan

Those should work as well as any. I bought most of my harness stuff from Del City, too. They have several Bosch style relays. I chose the style that allows me to crimp my own wires on the terminals, then insert them into the relay base. Thought it might look better... Also bought several rolls of 16 ga high temp rated wire in different colors... What the heck, I was having fun... Have made a few little harnesses. Haven't gotten to the headlight harness yet. I did finally find a male headlight connector, so, when I finally make mine, I can just plug it into one of the existing headlight connectors!!

Where did you find the Male Headlight connector? That would make life even easier, though it might introduce another point of failure. Hmm - lots to think about.

CAn't remember off the top of my head what the name of the place is. Should have shipping papers or invoice at home. I'll check later. Don't know if I'd worry too much about that being a point of failure. Others have just used individual male spade connectors, and shoved them into the original headlight connector. Have not heard of that being a problem..

Oh, and congrats on not being a Newby, Junior! ;D

I've got a bad ground in my passenger headlight (very dim) and I think it's in the female connector. Will the H4 female connector on that site fit my bronco's headlight? How do I know? Thanks!
