Help EFI Plumbing

Redoing the fuel system for EFI is way more work than I thought!

Anyone got a clean/easy way to plumb the rest of this to the tank? Seems like I will need a lot of bends and I am trying to avoid making my own AN connections (they always leak!) If only my fuel sender spout pointed at the passenger side...

I would love to move everything to the right (drivers side) but I am limited due to the BC Broncos hardline kit I just installed.

Also, my plan is to clamp everything with EFI clamps but most of the hose ends are bundy fittings (with a single barb) Just to make sure, the clamp goes on the filter side of the barb, not the hose side, right?

Don’t put it there. The housing can knock a fuel pump off on full compression.

Well that’s frustrating. Thanks for the heads up. I could mount it under that crossmember and it should be safe. Id still have the same problem though.

I might be stuck with modifying the new hardline kit so it doesnt reach as far aft as it does. Any other ideas?

You also want to keep it away from exhaust, with this in mind, every Bronco I’ve worked on the fuel supply is plumbed on the drivers side along the frame rail because single exhaust systems are routed along passenger side. Yes, some rigs have exhaust on driver’s side, or dual exhaust.

If you have a body lift you could run it on top of the frame rail or on the outside if you prefer.

Clamp goes on the filter/pump side of the barb. The idea is it keeps the rubber from stretching and slipping over the barb.

Ended up re-running the fuel lines outside the frame and bending them myself to make room for the pump assembly. Wish I thought it through before I spent the $$ on the BC lines.

Thanks for the help
