Guys, I live here in New Hampshire and have a pretty nice '69. I also have a bunch of various parts, a 5.0, trannys etc. and I picked up this '68 that many of you had indicated that it would be a good deal if I could get it for less than $500. I got it mainly for the tub but now I have had a serious change of heart.
You see, my 20 year old son enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces (Air Force) and he is now completing his first week of basic training at Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio. To know my son and know he has committed himself to the military for the next 4 years, you would know that if he makes it through basic that he will be well on his way to turning his lfe in the right direction.
Anyway, when we left his induction ceremony at MEPS in Boston, he made a interesting comment about that I should just get the parts together that I already had and that I should finish the '68 for him for after basic and tech school in California.
As unbelievable proud as I am of him, it would just make my day to have ANYONE who is much smarter than I about Broncos lend a hand over the next several months to get this thing road worthy. I'm not looking for a show ride. I know he would prefer to do some muddin' s well as be streetable.
I'll post up some of his pictures taking his oath befor he shipped out of Boston on Tuesday. Man, I never knew how proud I could be of my son.
Anyway, if you could help with your Bronco expertise. I would humbly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Mike
