Can anyone tell me which vehicle GT40P heads came in?

My driver slid header is leaking pretty badly, I called Bronco Hut for new gaskets and they said just get them form any parts store.

I got some for a 1998 Explorer and they are not the right size (port is smaller and leaking even worse).

I checked newer Explorer’s and same part number - please help.

Thanks

What headers are you running?? Bronco Hut/Sanderson are gasketless...

Maybe a little more detail for better suggestions.

I'd consider Remflex gaskets for most aftermarket headers have had NO issues on lots of customer installs ...

Also make sure your header flange is good and flat, not warped.

I only use the aluminum style anymore, never had a leak and they can be reused multiple times.

Look up Percy's deadsoft header gaskets.

Same here. I just installed mine last night and they came with Mr Gasket #5930

I always read too that the Broncohut headers don't use gaskets..perhaps this changed recently? I just purchased/installed the stainless ones and used the gaskets they included.

I did swap out the bolts for ARP ones though.. I broke a factory bolt when i took off my rusty Explorer intakes and swore I'd use ARP bolts next time.

I had a Felpro 1415 gasket sitting around, tried it and it worked - no more leak. Have not checked but I believe it’s just a SBF gasket.
Thanks all
