Hi all, I took my 73 Bronco apart 2 years ago: some wires loose from P.O., others became loose after I took the steering column out to rebuild it. Any help in identifying them would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance, John

I believe the 4-pin connector with the white, white w/red stripe, red w/grey stripe and green w/white stripe wires is for your emergency flasher switch. The 2-pin connector with the red w/white stripe and white w/red stripe wires is for the emergency flasher unit. I’m working on a turn signal issue on my ‘69 and those look the same. My ‘69 has a pull knob/switch for the emergency flashers.

Hope this helps.

For some reason I think the orange wire with the metal housing on the end was for the brake warning light in the dash but not positive ...

Correct. Was probably Pink at one point in it's life, but either way that's the Brake Warning lamp housing minus the bulb and lens.
Oh, and the probably-impossible-to-find spring.;D

Heavy gauge brown wire: power to blower, connects to center top fan switch terminal

Double plug offset female connector is for the Emergency flasher

4 connector offset female connector for Hazard dash switch.

Single female rubber plug could be radio power or center underdash dome light.

Brake light socket is missing a second wire, like purple with a stripe. As said need spring and bezel with it

These are best guesses based on the picture

Suggest applying power to the harness and using a test light to confirm.

Good luck.

I took 904's suggestion and used a test light. The 2 purple wires go to the front brake system(double female plug). I installed the WH's disc brakes system which has a single wire, have to figure that end out but still need to connect the two purple wires- probably to my missing dash brake light system. I chased the hanging yellow w black wire to my steering column. Goes to the "left rear". I don't know where that dash wire attaches, possibly a missing "warning light". I have a 1/2" hole above the "HAZARD", and a 5/8" hole below. What switches or lights with wires attach to the holes? Much thanks!
