I don't know if it is still the case but they used to have a smaller "car" kit and a "truck" kit, the car kit was junk and the truck kit actually works well. I know because I bought the cheaper one the first go around and ended up having to get the other.

I have the larger kit and it works great. There was a smaller version, I assume was for cars. I think mine said for 4x4 service, but don't have it sitting in front of me. Don't forget your 20% off coupon, which can be found in almost any magazine.

I have the truck kit also. Have used it several times to change ball joints and u joints. Helps to keep the threads on the bolt greased. I use anti seize on it.

X2 on oiling/greasing/never seize the threads. Otherwise great tool for the occasional user. I do use my 1/2" impact on mine, but carefully. I had not noticed the kit of extras before, guess I may have to pay them a visit...

Looks like the same thing I rented at Autozone or O'reilly's for free. My buddy has a 20ton press, but the adapters that come with the tool are awesome for doing ball joints on the Dana 44. Never needed the press, just used the rented tool.
