it would work, but you would have to install door switches so that it would know when a door was opened. also a switch for the rear window/door. the hood would have to have a switch also. the rest of the install would be very straightforward and easy.

The fob look huge. They list it needing a AAA battery. Then I can scale the remote to that size. Call it the size of a small cell phone.

This is one of those things that would be best installed during a re-wire job where you have everything opened up and are doing all the wiring at once. You will need door switches, etc to get the most out of it. I won't call it a better security sustem, but I will call it an entertainment system. gives you a toy to play with.
