Its funny cause I was looking this info up last week and didnt find this thread however its got all the good info and I posted in it like 5 times. Maybe it got the Saddleup burial as well :-X

This one out of the many you find when typing in Hydro Boost seems to have the most specific install and hose routing examples. I like to keep things simple so instead of searching for it every time I just bumped it.;D

Thanks to all who put info into this one. Maybe it would be a good one to link to the FAQ section on Brake Systems.

Sorry to be a gomer - but will the factory brackets for the factory p/s pump work with the MArk V pump? They sure look exactly alike.

No, they won't. The stock factory p/s pump (Thompson) has different bolt patterns, etc. than the Mark V Saginaw pump. However you can use an aluminum Saginaw pump bracket from a late '70s Ford/Lincoln (see admin's tech writeup on Saginaw pump install for details) and use the rest of the stock bracketry, with some minor mods needed to one piece.
