Must have been screwing around - BFG A/T's that wide would have no problem driving on the street in any condition unless the drive was horsing around and overpowering the tires...

A sad loss indeed-

Many thanks to the discussion of cages and explanation of theories hypothesized and tried. It helps us all as we try to do the best thing to protect ourselves and our families. It has already made some changes to a revision I've been planning for my cage.

It's very human to project ourselves into this awful accident, and guess at causes or actions that may have prevented it as a self defense while the reality is our hearts all break for these folks, and at what could happen to any of us.

Three things I know to be true:

1. Life is a vapor
2. Focus daily, and put your energy into, only those things that matter
3. Don't wait

The article is written so poorly you came determine which driver was killed

Was it the driver of the bronco or a driver of the other two vehicles involved?
And the child was in which vehicle?

From another article:

Bronco lost control and struck Honda. Driver of Honda died on scene. Female driver of Bronco injured, and passenger in Bronco (baby) still in critical condition. Third vehicle involved but must have been ancillary.

This is an interesting read but old! I wonder how they are doing now and if baby pulled through? Also anybody can make there Bronco's safer per say but you can also slip and fall in your shower and break your neck and die too.... so......Enjoy life and drive safe!!

Totally agree! I would never tell someone what that have to do with their lives and property.. However if you can dream up a situation that results in your rig not being on its four wheels then you should prepare for it. I am sure that that owner didnt think that he and his family was at risk just driving down the highway.... Sad story....

Probably not. But driving is one of THE most dangerous things you will ever do

Do you personally know anyone who has NEVER been involved in an auto accident ?

I'd say every one of us personally knows someone who was seriously inured or killed in a car accident
