I installed an edelbrock 1406 with intake and have yet to drive her since it is still very salty. When I did that I also installed a new saginaw power steering pump since the old one groaned like an old woman. ;D

Also installed a 4 point cage and had the wife roll tape around it. She was thrilled.

Also used bedliner on the back and it turned out really well, it is a bummer that will have to be sandblasted out of there. Oh well it is for a good cause!

I had a near bronco burndown with the stock wiring. It was in sad, sad, shape. I turned the key and magic black smoke rolled from under the dash. The wiring was all melted into one large glob!

So I just finished up the Centech install (with help from this forum);D

Very nice. Looks to be in good shape. Must be nice to work on something not covered in rust. Mine is in pieces and a train wreck. I'm putting one together out of what was left of 3. Thanks for the pics. Always good to see other broncos in progress.

Do you have a build thread? I am curious to take a look. Especially with your extensive repair

Well I figured I would update this to help keep me motivated and a timeline of money spent %)

Got some more work done on the bronco over the past couple weeks. Finally getting some nice days that I can actually pull it outside of my tiny 1 stall garage and work on it! I replaced my shift seal on the C4 and installed a shift kit while it was out. I am hoping that this will tie me over so I don't buy a NV3550. (But I really want to) We will see.

Installed a soft top from Bestop and really like the way it fits. Installing in the sunlight really helped it stretch when the weather was only around 45 degrees. I now only clear the garage by about 1/2 inch so no additional lift for awhile.

Replaced the water pump and broke off two bolts along the way. I welded a nut to one to get it out and had to drill out the other. Toughest water pump install I have done!

Still working on getting my edelbrock 1406 to run right, I set the float to 7/16 per manual and they were really off from the box. The carb was dumping gas down the engine and flooding pretty bad. I am going to pick up some new plugs because it ran better with float adjusted but still loading up. The plugs are completely black from before.

Also installed the new tach from this forum. IT KICKS BUTT!

Yeah my English bulldog doesn't help much either. Good looking truck, I need to do my shift seal here shortly so my garage floor stops getting nasty.

Keep at it.

Yeah mine was leaking pretty bad. You gotta love English bulldogs. He could sleep through my entire place getting robbed as long as they didn't take his dog bed. :)

I still have yet to see another dog that I have to kick out of bed in the morning to go outside. He always wants to hit the snooze.......

yes the body is in very bad shape up i live in the upper penuslula of michigan so it is hard to find them in good shape but the frame is not rusted much and the motor only has 38*** miles on it so it is worth the extra atention.

Hey arron are you going to keep the logo on the side of the door? Did it come that way? I had a bronco that came with a club sticker from so-cal it was mid 70s, had history.
