Poor wifey I hope he gets your car done before you loose your licesence from old age.

She still has about 40 or 50 years before she will be too old to drive so I would hope that wuld give me enough time to get hers done too!;D

So blubuckaroo started in 77 and I started in 76 (34 and 35 years respectively) , but we are beat by a newbe on here (jerrbo) who bought his 67 in 1970, which is 41 years!

Bought mine in 06, taken me five years of saving up and spending here and there to get enough parts together to just start the rebuild this summer. Im 38 and at this rate I'll be the same age as the year of mine (76) before its done.

My first one ( My 74 ) came into my hands in 89 I think. Before it was mine it belonged to a friend and I did the brakes on it when he had it so I'll go with a starting time of about the summer of 87. So I have been wrenching on this one for about 24 years now. I think I'm about 75-80% where I want to be on it. Mix in a wife, a few kids, a job, and a couple more Broncos in the garage and you learn a little something about patience.

I started working on my trail rig when my Son was born. He's now 16 (17 in September) and it's still not running. Since I started it I did finish 2 other Broncos. My goal is to have it running and on the street again by October of this year.

I've been infected since about '97 or '98 with my '72. The full teardown hasn't happened on mine yet, as I love driving it too much. It never ends. Last night when I should have been drifting off in sleep, I was dreaming I was spraying new color on my rig. Sick...sick. ;)

Got my 1st rust bucket in 1998...got a new body for it in 2001. 2004 was the single biggest year of the build...tore it down & built it back enough to tow it to Florida. Been slow going since then.

Started on the '66 about a year ago, got it where it will drive but I'm not comfortable taking it on the road. Overall plan is a restoration, that will take years and years, and I expect it to as I have no intention of selling it.

I got the '70 in January, and I drove it a few times before I decided it was just too unreliable and unsafe to keep driving. I'm tearing it apart now for a re-working of the wiring, and I have to fix the rear axle mounting. I also want to swap in my NP435. I hope I have it on the road next spring. It won't be done but I want it drivable so I can have some fun in a Bronco while I'm young.
