How many blades are standard on cooling fans?

Anybody know how many blades are standard on cooling fans in the 70's? thanks-A

My 70' 302 came with a fixed steel bladed fan that had only 4 blades.
All my other 302's came with the 7 bladed flex fans.

Mine has five and I think it is stock, but don't know for sure.

i think five is stock too-
just wondered because I saw a 7 for sale on the E of Bayness- hmmm- i bet i just broke a rule OOPS :-[

My 74 has a 7 bladed fan. The engine was replaced in it, so he probably upgraded to the 7 blade from 5.

My '73 has a stock 7-blade flex type, it's 18" diameter, and uses a 3/4" spacer between the pulley and the fan.
Mine is also equipped with a shroud.

I found some numbers stamped into the actual blade

I know '76 came 7 blade stock. May depend on 6 or 8 cyl. and standard or manual.

Mine has 5 also.302 and I know its stock.1970 model.
