Okay after 10 pages I don't think I can keep up with all that is going on. Someone please offer an update on what exactly is happening so far.

Just reading some of the posts has it already been mentioned to maybe get the rig to an offroading event (like OCBR) and have a work day on this rig? Or has that already been discussed? EDIT: spoke too soon, already discussed. I look forward to seeing it...and working on it. ;D

I have parts and would like to buy something as well for this guy. Were is the
"need" list?

Don't know if this was mentioned either but any chance in getting Bronco Driver to do a story on this thing, or someone capable of doing a writeup and sending it to BD? Or is that too "look what we're doing" ?:?

Yeah she sent them her story and what is going on here and they replied with this
Melissa,
Thank you for your story submission. We will certainly try and work it into our upcoming military issue.
So it looks like she might get in there.

Needs list added

I have added the items needed for the OBB on the site.

I will be adding the "wish list" soon - have to go do a little work on the EB!

cdkaminsky has started a website for the OBB. PM him for the URL. We can better keep up with contributions and needs there. At this time he is working on getting up the needs and wish list for the project. These list will shrink and grow as the build goes and as the project gains support.

That would be Jim, and that pic shows the springs mentioned at work......
I just contacted him to find out about a set of his awesome shocks for this ride and his generosity took over.
Big thanks to Jim and Karl for this effort.
The shock hoops are quite pricey as well as I recall.

Carl from Trick Trucks is a great guy as well.
I have had the pleasure of meeting him and seeing what he provides for the team. What a stand up guy.
Thanks to Bill for that hookup!!

I really cant compete with some of the stuff you guys are doing but I do have a nice "Bronco" key fob I could send if you want it. I figure it would be a nice touch when you give him the keys to his rig.

Let me know where to sent it.

When the folks involved in making the decisions for the actual buildup - and interested engine heads who want to stick their .02 in - get a chance, I posted a question on the OBB forum about a 5.0 engine option I have. Wanted some feedback on whether it fit in 'the plan' before I offered it up.

It's an '88 5.0 HO minus the EFI stuff. Make a real nice carbed engine and a Weiand intake is already donated, so I got to thinking...

After reading BMC post, my offer on the upper portion of my rfi setup stands, someone just needs to see if anyone wants to go thru a 5.0 harness or try to get one from Ryan. An EFI swap before he got home would really make him flip his lid.

I have not read this thread since page 2. Didn't realize what was going on untill yesterday. INTERESTING to say the least :) . Would one of you guys with the site address PM me with it ?

I'm sure there will be a lot of little things needed. I have a $50 gift certificate for Toms Bronco Parts and I'll donate it. Someone tell me who is taking collections like this. That is all I can do. My air hose won't reach all the way down there or I'd help with some work. :)
