I'm sure it hurt a little to see your old rig, even if you couldn't recognize it. It looks like Rene's shop is very good at what they do,revive the near dead.
A special thanks to Rene and the group at RC Customs for hosting our gathering.
My son and I enjoyed meeting new friends and seeing the Bronco Brothers. The weather held out for us,it can be a crap shoot this time of year.

Hey Jim,Didn't you take some pics? My phone pics leave something to be desired.:(

It looked amazing! It was recognizable when I looked close...interior and suspension where the same :)

Side note - did I hear someone say they working at a transmission shop? My Grand Cherokee went into limp mode on the way home from picking up my full width axle. It's throwing a tranny code.

Dudes, What an awesome day with the weather helping us out. I should've taken more pics; this is all I have. I saw JSmall snapping pics of that restore going on inside that is on it's way to being a killer bronco. Share 'em up Jaromy. Ken's (ilovemaui) red LUBR was very impressive indeed. Mike's (Miikee73) awesome as usual. And of course my local kidnapping bronco buds Dan & Jim were there. Rene's hospitallity was the best, great company and bar-b-q. Dale brought his '64-1/2 'stang over; got to meet him.... turn's out he lives down the street from me 'n Dan, I've seen him cruisin' the streets in the summer. Kevin (zombie66) was there sans Bronco, but we know he'll be driving it soon... great guy and company. Thanks all for showing up.

Pics:
Ken's gorgeous LUBR
Mike's copper beauty
Dale's 'stang with Jaromy's old Bronco
A shot of the 'stang with Dan's smurf blue Bronco
In one shot you can kinda see Jim's black/white top Bronco in the background

Hey you take good pics. Hope to see you in an EB soon.I saw that you got the full width front end,now you just need something to put on top of it.
Good luck with the trans in your grand cherokee, things like that cut into the bronco fund.

The guy at the shop told me the blue one is for sale. They did a frame off on it recently. The exterior was really nice. The interior is trail quality and the engine looked great. I think he's asking $14k.

Hey Jaromy... it would be interesting to see some "before" pics of your old bronco before Rene worked his magic on it. Do you have any to share?

I don't have many on this computer.

Hey guys. Sorry it's taken me a while to post these pics. Had a busy couple of days. Saturday was a lot of fun. It was nice meeting and seeing everyone. We'll have to do it again soon. Here's some pics from when we were at my place. A long narrow driveway doesn't seem too conducive to taking group pics, but here ya go!

Jim

Thanks all for the pics. One small screw up at this small event was that we should've lined the horses all up in front of Rene's shop for a group shot. Next time... anyway, that white beater with the black fender is the best lookin' bronco in the lot. ;) ;D I hope to be (sort of) kidnapped again soon.

Merry Christmas everyone and I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year!

Merry Christmas to you BronCowie (Mark). I was thinking the same thing. We should have lined them up. Oh well, next time. And nice pics Mikee!

Merry Christmas to everyone! I mean that.

Let's do it again soon. Maybe on a trail?

We'll just have to keep doing this until we get it right. Soon Kevin will be wheelin his and Jeremy is looking hard. My Son wants one in a bad way,but with a family of 3 kids sometimes your wants take a back seat to life. I guess I'll have to get a second one.

I dropped in on Rene at his shop a few days ago. Took some updated pics of one of the two Broncos that were in his shop when we went for the BBQ. One doesn't seem to have changed much but the black one is looking really good. A little dusty but the paint is flawless. Some serious bumpers too. He says they're going to be painted black. Probably a matte finish. I'm looking forward to seeing this one when it's done. I know you guys love pics, so here ya go....
