I'm looking for a back seat for my soon to be on the road eb daily driver. I'm wanting one large/comfortable enough for my three small children to ride on during short/local trips. Is there such a seat out there??? I'd like to have shoulder belts in the back sides and a lap belt in the middle. These will be tied into a family cage. Thanks, Lloyd

Mastercraft will cost you some coin but it fits the "comfortable" discription you are looking for. You could fit three small kids in one. The backs are high too.

I think I got mine from Tom's broncos and it's pretty nice, I've had 2 pre-teen kids back there and it looked like one more would fit.

That's what I have...It wont remove, but it folds up nice. I'll look around but I think it was TOM's broncos %)rear seat from Tom's

1997-present wrangler rear seat is a cheap swap; I got mine for $20. The seat just touches both inner fender wells so it uses all the space available and it's easy to fold/remove.

3 kids in the back?
Try adapting rear seats out of an FJ40. That way you can bring another of there friends.
Those seats sit 2 across each wheel well, 4 in the back. Add a bench seat to the front and the little FJ could seat 7. Don't see why you couldn't do that to a Bronco? Room for other gear may be an issue though %)

rear seat

If you want the most bang for your buck get a dodge raider/mitubishi montero fiip and tumble seat from the early 90s models. They are available at most u pull it yards and the price is usually cheap.

As mentioned above the Wrangler TJ seat fits almost as if it was made to go there. The one I put in mine was a Bestop Fold n tumble for a Wrangler TJ. For 3 small chidren it works fine. Mine are all teen and adult size now though so I'm pulling it back out to sell and will put a wider seat in instead. (I've already widened the area by 8" so I just need to find a 48" wide seat)

The fold and tumble from Tom's has more cushion, and kind of extends out alittle over the fenderwells. The stock seat ,as you probably know, has a lot of sharp steel edges.I like that Landcruiser folding seats idea.I bought some at a bone yard.but as of yet have not installed them.

If I recall right the company that makes the one Tom's sells are made by Smittybuilt and are te same ones JBG sells. The kicker is that Smittybilt is now owned by Bestop as of a couple of years ago. Looking at the pictures on the JBG site the seats look identical to the Bestop Wrangler seat I bought and you can tell from the pics that the seat displayed isn't even in an EB. (The colors Tom's offers them in are identical to those offered be Bestop as well)

The folding ones from a older Toyota Previa minivan look like theywould be a sweet install.

otherwise the TJ seat is an easy install.

These are all great ideas. Thanks for the input. I looked at the seats in my sister in laws Rodeo. They looked like they might fit too. Might be similar to the Mitsubishi??
